Pre-Sale Tokens Recovered
We’ve recovered 7,172,816 $BLANK tokens from the private pre-sale smart contract! This was due to certain pre-sale buyers not being able to provide us with regulatory documentation.
These tokens will be retained by the company and used in marketing efforts as we lead up to Blank Wallet’s mainnet launch and beyond. In addition, we are investigating creative ways to redistribute these tokens to our community. We plan to outline exactly how these tokens will be distributed at a later date, once all details have been finalized. Rest assured, the tokens will be put to use for the benefit of the Blank community.
We aim to be as transparent as possible with our community, and we hope that by doing so we can work towards building a better future.
Staying Compliant
Due to the nature of our industry, it’s incredibly important for us to stay compliant with legislative requirements to ensure the long-term future success of Blank Wallet.
As a result, we have committed to making further efforts to stay compliant with regulations. Due to existing legislation, we performed an enhanced KYC process directed at our private sale token buyers. Several of these buyers were asked for further documentation as a part of the due diligence process.
The parties who failed to produce the necessary documentation have been refunded the $USDT contributed during the private pre-sale. $BLANK tokens unclaimed by these parties held in the pre-sale smart contract were frozen and will be retained by the company.
We want to make it clear that these regulations only apply to private pre-sale investors. $BLANK holders and wallet users outside of this category will never be asked for KYC documentation.
