Blank Wallet: Monthly Review for June
It’s been another busy month for Blank Wallet, and we’re back with a monthly review. June was a positive month full of major milestones. These are interesting times for Blank Wallet, and we’re just as excited as all of you. Despite coming so far, we’re only just getting started!
In case you’re not in the loop, here’s what happened with Blank Wallet over the last month:
Public Testnet Release
The first public iteration of Blank Wallet is finally here! After many months of development, the wallet is functional with test networks. These networks simulate the Ethereum network and offer users an opportunity to experiment before using real assets.
The release is a major milestone for Blank Wallet, yet we’re waiting for one key component before going live on the Ethereum network: our third-party public security audit.
It’s crucial to get a third-party perspective to guarantee security and privacy for our users, so we announced that we’ve teamed up with Least Authority. As a titan of the space, Least Authority will help establish Blank Wallet as a standard for privacy and security. You can read the full announcement here.
We’ll be going live on the Ethereum network as soon as the audit is complete. In the meantime, you can start your journey to financial privacy and download the testnet wallet!
Blank Wallet saw continued growth over June. We expanded our team even more and announced three new additions.
You can find out more about our new hires in the posts below:
- Meet our new hire — Alexandre Chabeau, UI Full Stack Developer
- Meet our new hire — Angelina Marquardt, Project Manager
- Meet our new hire — Frederick Hopkins, Content Writer
Blank Wallet also continued to grow on social platforms, with approximately 3100 new Twitter followers and two new community Telegram groups.
The Blank Citadel is a Telegram group dedicated to the most committed members of our community. This space will offer serious holders the chance to delve into issues such as blockchain privacy while getting to know more about Blank’s long-term vision. If you hold 10,000 or more $BLANK tokens, you can join the Citadel here.
Blanksters is a community-run Telegram group. Focusing on engagement, the group will serve as a space for community members to contribute to the growth and success of Blank Wallet. As a result of this group, we’ve seen a real uptick in engagement, with some key influencers starting to take notice. We’d like to thank all of the Blanksters for their hard work, as they’re a crucial part of the project going forward. You can join the community and become a Blankster here.
Blank in Action
Early in the month, we launched a new series of posts titled “Blank in Action.” The series explores realistic and helpful use cases for Blank Wallet. Our goal with this series is to demonstrate how everyday users can benefit by reclaiming their financial privacy with Blank Wallet. Privacy is a fundamental human right, so we’re making it accessible for everyone.
So far, we’ve covered the following topics:
- Blank in Action (#1): Private Transfers
- Blank in Action (#2): Private ENS Domains
- Blank in Action (#3): Doxxed Wallets & Privacy
- Blank in Action (#4): NFT Privacy
- Blank in Action (#5): Trading & Privacy
And there’s more to come!
Liquidity Rewards Extended
We extended our liquidity rewards program with Unicrypt. Delivering a better user experience is a top priority of ours, so Unicrypt’s streamlined approach to decentralized finance felt like an appropriate choice. We allocated 65,000 $BLANK tokens in rewards for June’s liquidity rewards program! You can read more about the program here.
Stay tuned for further announcements regarding our liquidity rewards program!
About Blank Wallet
Blank is the most private, non-custodial Ethereum browser extension wallet.
Blank allows the user to easily interact with privacy smart contracts on Ethereum to hide the amounts and the origins of cryptocurrency held, in a decentralized, non-custodial, and frictionless manner.
Blank solves the problem of privacy in crypto transactions. Each time you want to make a withdrawal, Blank will create a new wallet address for you with the amount of crypto that you requested. This address originates from the smart contract where everyone’s funds are pooled. All of this is achieved using cryptographic proofs to ensure that the user cannot be linked with the original depositing address.
With crypto transactions increasing, on-chain transaction privacy is being highly discussed to keep you safe from exposing yourself. Blank has developed a system that adds the ultimate protective layer to your crypto transactions while facilitating every function that other wallets offer.
Anyone can easily install Blank and start reaping the privacy benefits in no time at all. Besides the smart contract functionality, Blank wallet offers a higher level of privacy due to Tor integration. Upcoming functionality includes DeFi web3 integrations as well as support for Metamask Snaps Plugins to allow for seamless connectivity and usage.
Reclaim privacy on your Ethereum transfers. Go Blank.
