Blank Wallet: Monthly Review for August

After coming to the end of another busy month, we’re back with a monthly review. We’re finally getting a clearer vision of what the future holds and are just as excited as all of you are. As we edge closer to Blank Wallet’s mainnet release, we continue to grow as a project and community.

In case you’re not in the loop, here’s what happened with Blank Wallet over the last month:

Release Plan

After receiving Least Authority’s initial audit report, we outlined the following mainnet release plan:

Phase 1

Addressing issues found by Least Authority
Have our adjustments confirmed by Least Authority

Phase 2

In-house code reviews conducted by our development team
Public bug bounties to find and eliminate bugs

Phase 3

Mainnet beta testing with a limited number of users
Additional third-party audits conducted by other auditing firms
Public mainnet release date announcement

The nature of development makes giving specific dates extremely difficult. Instead, we’ll update the community as each phase is completed. The public mainnet release will take place as soon as we complete phase 3.

Blank in Action

We completed our ‘Blank in Action’ series. The series explored realistic and helpful use cases for Blank Wallet. Our goal with this series was to demonstrate how everyday users can benefit by reclaiming their financial privacy with Blank Wallet. In many ways, we believe that we have only scratched the surface. We’re extremely optimistic about the role Blank Wallet will play in a private, bright, and decentralized future.

Help Center Opened

We opened up our new help center! It serves as our knowledge base and is the place to go for all things related to Blank Wallet. We’ll keep it updated with useful information as we lead up to the mainnet release and beyond. You can check out the help center here.

Twitter Spaces AMA

We hosted an AMA on Twitter Spaces with Alex, Iman, Martin, and Philip! During the AMA, we answered some of the most popular questions submitted by the community as well as live questions. Pre-Sale Tokens Recovered

We recovered 7,172,816 $BLANK tokens from the private pre-sale smart contract! This was a result of certain pre-sale buyers not being able to provide us with necessary regulatory documentation. Due to the nature of our industry, we’re making further efforts to stay compliant. We’ll use these tokens for marketing and community efforts and plan to outline exactly how they will be distributed at a later date. You can read the full article here.

CMO Job Listing

We’re on the hunt for a Chief Marketing Officer! As we approach Blank Wallet’s mainnet release, we plan to ramp up our marketing efforts. Over the past few months, we’ve been experimenting with marketing to see what works and what doesn’t. We believe Blank Wallet will benefit from a CMO to head our long-term marketing plan. Increased Liquidity Rewards
