Another month has flown by and we’re back with another review! April was a good month with a lot of growth for both the product development and the community.
We’ve also seen substantial growth within our own team, counting with multiple new hires as well as new development and test updates. As so, we figured we would share a quick recap of April in order to keep you up to speed with the latest news.
Blank continues to grow!
The Blank project has seen tremendous growth throughout the month. This includes the community as well as the project team itself. There are now over 18,600 followers in the Blank Twitter account. We’ve also grown to almost 7,000 token holders on the Ethereum blockchain.
Our team has seen three new hires. You can read more about them in the posts below:
- Meet our new hire — Cryptographer, Cristian Lupascu
- Meet our new hire — Rodrigo Calvo, Software Engineer
- Meet our new hire — Olga Yegorova, Front-end Developer
As the number of $BLANK token holders increases, we’ve also looked for new ways to provide exchange methods for the community. In April, the $BLANK token has been listed on the popular centralized altcoin exchange, MXC.
This latest CEX listing allows token holders to access new fiat deposits and withdrawals (CNY, VND, USD, GBP, EUR, AUD) using the BLANK/USDT pair as a bridge.
Support for the $BLANK token has also been added to the DODO decentralized exchange.
Having made significant progress in our product and token ecosystems, we’ve also been able to secure two new partnerships within the DeFi realm.
We’ve partnered with the highly community-driven DeFi platform, OctoFi, which will integrate the Blank wallet as a connection method for its web 3.0. Dapp along with several other benefits for both projects.
We’ve also made a strategic investment and partnership with Plethori, a Polkadot-based trustless Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) platform. Plethori will also integrate the Blank Wallet into their platform and include the $BLANK token in its privacy-focused ETF, increasing exposure of the project and the token.
Development update and Early access
The Blank team has been hard at work to provide a top-quality product. Our second development update includes more info on our privacy functionality, user interface, and outlook. Read more about it here.
We’ve also sent out emails to all community members that qualify for Blank Wallet early access. If you’re one of these, please check your inbox and try out the new version. We’ll be awaiting your feedback!
$BLANK liquidity providers
We’ve also distributed April’s liquidity mining rewards. Liquidity providers received roughly $90,000 worth of $BLANK tokens! ($60,000 sent to Uniswap LPs and $30,000 to Pancakeswap LPs). Moving forward we will shift out distribution to $80,000 worth of $Blank towards Uniswap LPs and $10,000 towards PancakeSwap LPs.
If you want to know how to qualify for LP rewards, read our previous blog post here.
About Blank Wallet
Blank is the most private, non-custodial Ethereum browser extension wallet.
Blank allows the user to easily interact with privacy smart contracts on Ethereum to hide the amounts and the origins of cryptocurrency held, in a decentralized, non-custodial, and frictionless manner.
Blank solves the problem of privacy in crypto transactions. Each time you want to make a withdrawal, Blank will create a new wallet address for you with the amount of crypto that you requested. This address originates from the smart contract where everyone’s funds are pooled. All of this is achieved using cryptographic proofs to ensure that the user cannot be linked with the original depositing address.
With crypto transactions increasing, on-chain transaction privacy is being highly discussed to keep you safe from exposing yourself. Blank has developed a system that adds the ultimate protective layer to your crypto transactions while facilitating every function that other wallets offer.
Anyone can easily install Blank and start reaping the privacy benefits in no time at all. Besides the smart contract functionality, Blank wallet offers a higher level of privacy due to Tor integration. Upcoming functionality includes DeFi web3 integrations as well as support for Metamask Snaps Plugins to allow for seamless connectivity and usage.
Reclaim privacy on your Ethereum transfers. Go Blank.
