Blank Wallet features beyond basic privacy (#4): Binance Smart Chain integration
This post is the fourth part of a series in which we will explore and delve into the Blank Wallet’s upcoming features. In this case, we’ll take a deeper look into the upcoming integration with the popular smart contract platform, Binance Smart Chain (BSC)
While Ethereum has proven to be the go-to option for Decentralized Finance (DeFi) developers and users alike, it has also shown that the current implementation is not ready for the high demand that this nascent industry has created. Simple transactions can cost over $15 and more complex smart contract interactions can cost hundreds of dollars.
While there are many competing and complementing blockchain solutions out there, the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) stands out due to its popularity and development activity. Many other layer 1 and layer 2 protocols offer different benefits and it’s clear to see that the future of DeFi will be a cross-chained one where multiple platforms will serve different purposes.
BLANK: serving multiple communities
While privacy is one of our major focuses, we also like to make clear that we want to bring convenience and ease-of-use to the world of DeFi. That is why Blank aims to natively support the most popular sidechains and blockchains in the market, starting with the BSC with many other implementation announcements in the pipeline.
In order to position ourselves as the go-to privacy and convenience wallet for all blockchain users in the DeFi, NFT, and general crypto space, we are looking to add Binance Smart Chain support on the initial Blank wallet version as an alternative blockchain alongside the Ethereum network.
We see this as a seamless integration that can be easily activated with a press of a button. When using the Blank Wallet, users will be able to transfer and trade their assets. Changing their blockchain of preference with a few clicks, switching from ETH, to BSC, and more will be easy with the Blank Wallet.
Smart Contract privacy features will be integrated into the Binance Smart Chain based on how popular the use of the BSC becomes within the Blank Wallet.
More updates about additional features that go beyond basic privacy are coming soon so stay tuned!
About Blank Wallet
Blank is the most private, non-custodial Ethereum browser extension wallet.
Blank allows the user to easily interact with privacy smart contracts on Ethereum to hide the amounts and the origins of cryptocurrency held in a decentralized, non-custodial, and frictionless manner.
Blank solves the problem of privacy in crypto transactions. Each time you want to make a withdrawal, Blank will create a new wallet address for you with the amount of crypto you requested. This address originates from the smart contract, where everyone’s funds are pooled. All of this is achieved using cryptographic proofs to ensure that the user cannot be linked with the original depositing address.
With crypto transactions increasing, on-chain transaction privacy is being highly discussed to keep you safe from exposing yourself. Blank has developed a system that adds the ultimate protective layer to your crypto transactions while facilitating every function that other wallets offer.
Anyone can easily install Blank and start reaping the privacy benefits in no time at all. Besides the smart contract functionality, Blank wallet offers a higher level of privacy due to Tor integration. Upcoming functionality includes DeFi web3 integrations as well as support for Metamask Snaps Plugins to allow for seamless connectivity and usage.
