Augustas Radziukas Joins BlockWallet as CMO
With the launch of BlockWallet, the new chapter begins. We see BlockWallet becoming the main gateway to a private Web3, and we are set to make our mark. We’ve already built a fantastic team that has led us this far, but we are now adding someone we see as essential to this new chapter.
Today, we introduce a long-anticipated addition to the BlockWallet team. Meet Augustas — our new Chief Marketing Officer. Augustas joins us from Syntropy, where he led growth marketing efforts. Before, Augustas has managed and contributed to projects aimed to build and engage thriving crypto and developer communities and scale product users, which closely aligns with our goals at BlockWallet. His understanding and feel of the crypto space, coupled with his marketing skills and management experience, is what we consider a perfect blend to take upon this task.

The crypto landscape is now vastly different from when I started dabbling with Bitcoin in 2014. We’ve been through trends and fads, booms and falls, but we matured with each chapter. The opportunities that have been created and will still be created are something you could only describe as remarkable. However, I worry that the rapid growth and adoption resulted in us forgetting the fundamental principles of crypto. We now focus on exposure to crypto more than on ownership. We’ve always fought for privacy, but we see the same problems come up on Web3. This is why I am happy to be joining BlockWallet. We are still early, and I see the gaps present as an opportunity to make things right. BlockWallet is a privacy-first solution because this is how it should be in Web3. We should not forget that it is also a great wallet — it is not a compromise, and what I am most excited about is not that we create privacy but that we enable it. We present it in a format that is open and easy to understand or use. There is also a reason I talk about the evolution of the crypto space. Solutions that are in place today are the first-movers, but they might have a MySpace problem. It is just the right time to enter the wallet or privacy space, but we ought to improve on what has been built.
